Dr. Roberetta Young
Head Pastor
Dr. Roberetta Young is serving as the Pastor of Central Church of God, Chicago, IL. Dr. Young has ministered at multi-levels of Christian work. She was ordained by the State of Illinois Ministries Council in 2001. She is a member of Chicagoland Area Minister’s Fellowship, National Association of the Church of God (NACOG), Preacher Girl School and ARISE Women in Ministry. Currently, she serves as secretary for the National Association Women of the Church of God (NAWCG) and a facilitator for the Leadership Focus Program.
Dr. Young also known as Pastor Robbie received her formal education from Illinois State University, Olivet Nazarene University, Phoenix University and National Lewis University. She was awarded the Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) in 2005. She was awarded the Doctor of Education Degree in Community College Leadership in 2011. She has taken theology courses at the Center for Christian Theology an extension of Anderson University Continuing Education Program. She was employed by Mid America Christian University as an Adjunct Professor and Dean of Career Programs for City Colleges of Chicago (CCC). Dr. Young currently works for Chicago Public Schools (CPS). Her mission in life is to be a neighbor to all she meets through education and spiritual clarity.
